Fourth Newsletter

Out West’s Fourth Newsletter is all about updating you on the happenings in the store and in our world. With Independent Bookstore Day just around the corner, we want to show you some of the fabulous goodies we have in store!

The invasion of Ukraine has caused thousands of people to lose their lives and countless others to be injured, displaced, and terrified. Out West urges people to arm themselves with knowledge; take time to learn about the history of Ukraine and the continued assault on the nation in Eastern Europe. Finally, we want to urge you to help in the ways that you can, whether you can donate to organizations that are on the ground in Ukraine, or simply continue to spread awareness about the atrocities happening to Ukrainian soldiers and civilians.

With spring around the corner, Out West is preparing itself for all the great things that come with the season! We are getting ready with books about gardening and foraging, hiking trails, and kids Easter books. Most importantly, Out West Books is getting ready for Independent Bookstore Day! The last Saturday in April, Out West will be having one of our biggest events of the year. There will be in store raffles, Independent Bookstore exclusives, and so many other things we’ll be doing to make the day exciting. Make sure to stop in for the celebration!

Come into Out West Books to get yourself a new charcuterie board or a recipe box to store your favorite combinations. You’ll also find books that will turn you into an expert on how best to pair all different types of meats, cheeses, veggies, and wines!
